We recognize that the name VAG Clinic references a body part that not everyone identifies with. Our name is not meant to reduce people to anatomy or imply that only cisgenger women seek abortion care. People of many genders, including transgender, nonbinary, and gender-expansive people access abortion and reproductive health services. VAG Clinic is committed to providing affirming, respectful, and safe care to everyone who walks through our doors.
We welcome our queer, transgender, gender-expansive, and nonbinary community members and believe that everyone deserves to make the best choices for themselves and their bodies without being judged or feeling out of place. At VAG Clinic you will see people of all genders and orientations are part of the staff, and all staff will have their pronouns visible on their name tags as an invitation for you to share yours. We will make it a priority to address you correctly. You will have the opportunity to share the name you go by if it differs from your legal name and you will be called by that name. Our restrooms are gender-neutral and we avoid gendered language surrounding abortion care as we know all genders need abortion access. We embrace our trans and gender nonconforming patients and would love to know if there are any special requests or language that would be supportive of you throughout your care–please let the scheduling team know when making your appointment, otherwise you can share in person.
To maintain your privacy, we are only scheduling appointments by phone.
