Birth Control Counseling

We offer birth control counseling in a way that centers each person’s autonomy, comfort, and lived experience. Our goal is to provide clear, supportive information so patients can explore their options without pressure. Some choose to start a method during their visit, while others prefer to gather information to consider later or discuss with a provider back home. Some people will choose to not discuss birth control. All are completely valid.

At VAG Clinic, we offer prescriptions for birth control, including the pill, patch, ring, and emergency contraception like Plan B or Ella. We also provide long acting reversible contraception in-clinic, including hormonal and non hormonal IUDs, as well as Nexplanon.

If you have questions about funding for birth control, please let schedulers know, or staff know when in-clinic as there may be funding available.
